On Friday the 11th of February 2011 it was Colours for Queensland Day”. The main idea was to raise money for the Rockhampton & Toowoomba dioceses’ school. That day was also a Mufti Day, when we had to wear clothes of bright casual clothes.
The school pupils wore clothes of bright colours including maroon red. The Liturgy and Social Justice Team gave up their lunchtime and some of their school time to count all the money raised with Ms Maloney. Then the Liturgy and Social Justice Team announced that the school raised a total of $610.05. It was a great accomplishment for the school, as it was the highest amount raised this year so far.
